The Prime Minister of Georgia arrives in Imereti to inspect sports infrastructure ahead of the 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship co-hosted by Georgia.
Irakli Garibashvili will visit in Kutaisi Ramaz Shengelia Stadium and the Academy of the Georgian Football Federation.
The Municipal Development Fund of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure received GEL 115 million in government funding to rebuild ten infrastructure units in preparation for the UEFA European Under-21 Championship in 2023.
The 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship will be held in Georgia and Romania from June 21 to July 8. Football matches will be played in Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Batumi.
