"Tbilisi Student Festival 2022" will close today, at 18:00, with a large-scale event at the Ethnographic Museum. The Mayor of capital announced this at the session of municipal government.
“With the support of the Tbilisi City Hall and organized by the Georgian Student Organizations Association, the Tbilisi Student Festival 2022 was completed, within the framework of which, the tournaments in 15 types of sports and cultural tours were held.
The large-scale closing of the event will be held on July 6, at 18:00, in the Ethnographic Museum, where the winning universities will be awarded in different fields, and at the same time, the winning universities in the field of culture will be nominated. The event will include a youth band concert and a DJ program. Attendance is free and anyone can come and attend.
More than 50 000 students from 34 state and private higher education institutions operating in Georgia took part in the festival. The festival will take on a traditional character and will be held every year. I believe that it will become broader and more interesting every year.
I want to tell the students that there will always be support and assistance from Capital City Hall. In addition, I would like to appeal to student self-governments to show initiative and present interesting projects. We are ready to support these projects financially and make their implementation possible”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
