USAID Economic Security Program and US Chamber of Commerce celebrate 30 years of Georgia-US partnership. As participants of the event said, Georgia’s hospitality and tourism sectors are on the road to recovery from the effects of the global pandemic. Today’s launch of USAID’s new partnership with the American Chamber of Commerce and several leading hospitality companies will further that effort.
US Ambassador to Georgia addressed the ceremony, which also marked 30 years of U.S. support for Georgia, noting how the relationship has progressed from donor and beneficiary to partnership in Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic integration.
“The United States is proud to have been a partner to Georgia in developing its infrastructure, attracting investment, and laying the groundwork for its thriving hospitality industry that is now partnering with us on this initiative”, - she Kelly Degnan.
