The employees of the flour production company Guria Express went on strike in Ozurgeti. Its already 4 days, they are demanding salary increase and better working conditions.
Protesters said that the administration treats them in a degrading manner. They already hired a lawyer to protect their rights. They do not rule out suing the company. Rally participants are not going to resume work until their demands are fully met.
Representatives of the Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association met with the strikers today and promised to support them.
