Georgian Foreign Minister meets Azerbaijani counterpart

The Minister of Foreign Affairs Davit Zalkaliani has met with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov in Baku.

During the meeting they discussed all key aspects of Georgian-Azerbaijan relations and underlined that developing strategic partnerships between the two countries is a priority for both countries.

Ministers also talked about the ongoing developments in the region, strategically significant projects, in which Georgia and Azerbaijan are both involved, current geostrategic projects.

Zalkaliani and Bayramov talked regarding the Georgia-Azerbaijan border demarcation issue, showed readiness to convene the corresponding commission in the shortest possible time, and expressed hope that both countries" interests will be pursued in resolving the issue.
