The ruling party is ready to consider an updated version of the document brokered by European Council President Charles Michel. As the Georgian Dream writes in a special statement, they will not express their critical position if the President pardons Giorgi Rurua.
“He is neither a politician nor a person who has made any crucial changes to the political process. The reflection of the issue of Giorgi Rurua’s release in the agreement between the parties is a gross example of political interference with the judiciary. We take into account the existing reality and the attitude of our partners, which is why we will not express our critical position if the President pardons him”, - reads the statement of the ruling party.
